A few weeks ago I reported that the mold is so bad at a closed JCPenney store at the Crystal River Mall in Crystal River, Florida, fire rescue inspectors had donned protective gear to view the store. Inspectors discovered the mold and numerous fire code violations. They have given the mall owner 60 days to determine whether the entire structure is safe.
Apparently, this week that Crystal River Mall has followed through with the mold removal, and wants everyone to know they no longer have a mold problem. They even have the papers to prove it.
I guess media reports about mold in your building is bad for business…
A photo posted to Reddit shows the mall’s marquee reading, “No mold inside mall/passed all tests/copies available in mall office.”
